Mandy Owen
President
Mandy Owen joined Monticello Asset Management, Inc. in 2004 as a Regional Property Supervisor. Eventually moving on to grow her career working as a Regional Vice President and then Vice President of Operations for two large multi-family management firms based in Texas. In 2020, she came back home to Monticello as President, bringing with her over 25 years of property management experience. Her strategic leadership expertise, as well as experience managing diverse teams and various operational divisions, are instrumental in forging the company's long-range goals, plans, and policies.
She is responsible for the general operations, development of policies & procedures, budgeting, and oversight of all departments, including marketing, accounting, and maintenance, and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for all classes of assets and has the ability to reposition those assets to take advantage of the marketplace. Mandy holds a Housing Credit Certified Professional designation and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor.

Mary Salinas
Director of Human Resources
Mary Salinas is the HR Director with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Accounting. She began her career in the accounting field in 2005 at a CPA firm, working her way up from data entry to Payroll Processor, and has been a dedicated professional in the multifamily industry since 2009 and joined Monticello in 2016. Mary was recognized for her performance and outstanding contributions by winning the Excellence Award in 2022 and became certified as an Associate Professional in Human Resources in 2023. Mary enjoys reading, crafting, and coaching soccer outside her professional life. She is very family-oriented and a proud mother of two.

Jami Sneed
Controller
Jami Sneed is the Controller at Monticello Asset Management, Inc., bringing over a decade of experience in financial management, with a focus on the real estate sector, for the past six years. Her career began in entrepreneurial environments, fostering her skills in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork. Jami has a proven track record of implementing cost-effective and efficient policies and procedures that reduce costs and increase income. Previously, she played a pivotal role at a real estate investment firm, where she developed and managed the accounting departments in various real estate markets, including convenience stores, fast food franchises, and a furniture company. Later, she expanded her expertise into multi-family accounting in 2021. A proud 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University, Jami balances her professional life with family time, enjoying moments with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

Madaid Gutierrez
Regional Supervisor / Director of Facilities
Madaid Gutierrez began her journey in the multifamily real estate sector 20 years ago and has been a key member of Monticello Asset Management since 2006. During her time with the company, she has excelled in roles from Property Manager to Regional Supervisor to Director of Facilities. Over the years, she has earned the Achiever & Excellence Award, reflecting her dedication and outstanding performance. Specializing in financial, operational, and facility management, Madaid brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Outside of work, she is a devoted spouse of 20 years and a proud parent of three beautiful children. In her free time, Madaid enjoys reading, cooking, and cherishing moments with her family.

Stefanie Powers
Regional Supervisor
Stefanie pursued a college education in real estate, which set the foundation for a successful career. She joined Monticello Asset Management in 2005 and has been a dedicated team member ever since. Working in the Waco area, Stefanie specializes in student housing and has expanded her expertise to include conventional multifamily properties. Stefanie is recognized as an Excellence Award winner for her commitment and achievements in the field. Outside of work, Stefanie enjoys channeling her creativity through DIY projects, attending concerts, and spending quality time with her daughter.

Natalie Strawn
Regional Supervisor
Natalie began her career in property management as a Leasing Consultant in 2004 for a national property management company. She left the industry for several years and worked in human resources but returned to property management in 2008. Natalie joined Monticello in 2009 as a Property Manager and was promoted to Multi-Site Manager in 2011. Natalie has been a Regional Property Supervisor with Monticello since 2022 and is responsible for creating an optimal work environment for our employees and an optimal living environment for our residents. She currently holds a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designation.
